Finally, I have him, my Primarch, the final piece of my Imperial Fists puzzle (until I decide to get a new thunderhawk)!
Simon has done a fantastic job with him - I am incredibly happy with the pose and everything, he's what I expected to be: the general, the tactician - he's not a fighting machine like Corax or Curze is so I was glad he has been modeled in a more contemplative and analyzing pose like as though he is taking stock of the battle in front him and working out what the Imperial Fists next move it.
So, as you may have seen, I made a start on painting him last week and I've slowly but surely been making progress. At the moment I am still basecoating him as I want to make sure I get it right. There's some work to be done on the non-golds on him but I've planned how I'm going to paint him now:
- Retributor Armour
- Riekland Fleshshade
- Auric Armour Gold
- Liberator Gold
- Stormhost Silver
- Screamer Pink
- Druchii Violet
- Mephiston Red
- Wazdakka Red
- Evil Suns Scarlet
- Zandri Dust
- Agrax Earthshade
- Ushabti Bone
Bolter casing and armour seals:
- Abbadon Black
- Eshin Grey
Exposed cables, gun barrel, etc.:
- Nuln Oil
- Stormhost Silver
- Bugmans Glow
- Riekland Fleshshade
- Cadian Fleshtone
- Kislev Flesh
I imagine this is going to keep me busy for a while but I don't mind, I want to make sure I do this beautiful model justice!
Until next time,

That’s the first of hopefully many characters down. She was a great sculpt and a fantastically detailed mould.

Everything comes to an end. . .
Since 2006, this project has been my favourite aspect of the GW project range.
The Siege of Terra Dawns. . .
They decided on Friday last week who will be writing what stories of the final stretch of this story.
Gav Thorpe & Guy Hayley.
Angron offering terms to the Emperor from the base of the walls (that sounds cool). Not sure if this happens or if this is metaphorical.
They are really trying to end all loose ends to enrich this final stage.
They can’t just focus on the Siege on the wall. They need to focus on the other aspects and setups to do it justice.
It’s very difficult to balance the scale of the conflict from a single character’s perspective.
The conclusion of the perpetual story line.
Guy Hayley will be writing a book with Imperial Army’s perspective on the conflict.
The Horus Heresy will end with the Emperor on the Golden Throne. Then the Scouring could begin, with a different logo on the cover.
Won’t confirm who will be writing the final book.
B. Cawl is in Wolfsbane novel.
Angron will approach the wall and issue terms to Sanguinius.
Khan will fight Fulgrim.
How many books? Can’t say a definite number. They should be relatively punchy on the release schedule.
Keeler will have a role.
The Death Guard’s fall to Nurgle will be before the Siege of Terra mini series (the penultimate).
When The Horus Heresy series finishes, they can envision potentially doing revisit books set within the Horus Heresy timeline. Even if they are taking forward the Scouring.
A Horus Heresy Encyclopaedia is a possibility (but would be a f**king nightmare).
Will they look at the impact of the Siege on the regular citizens? Yes. Minor viewpoints here and there too.

Alpha Legion Terminators:
Finally a Land Speeder for 30k - may be an event/WW exclusive model:
No comment on re doing Assault Marines (improving their scale to fit with Plastics).
Regarding unbalanced forces (Thousand Sons) they may get addressed by an FAQ / Errata soonish.
Titan Weapons: Titan Weapons will be created in 40k Scale then Down scaled to Adeptus Titanicus.
Some of the new Custodes models may not get rules in 30k, but that might change or some might get ported to 30k.
New Dreadnought Drop Pod! Might see it tomorrow!
Emperor’s Children Transfers should be coming out again soon
